The section of the wall was built by Herod the Great. It is the closest to the Temple Mount that religious Jew can go as the location of the Holy of Holies is unknow and is not to be walked on. A very moving experience to see everyone praying in the open.
Best view of the destroyed second temple site. As my Dad would say... People are just dying to get in there! The pointed conical tower in the right background is the Tomb of Absalom, King David's son, hewn out of solid rock... worth a see!
