Old temple of Lord Shiva. Built in the 7th century. It is believed to have been hit by a devastating earthquake around the 12th century AD, and the steps still bear the visual repercussions of this calamity. Temple site was unearthed in 2005
I went to Nepal a year later and found out the is a rivalry between India and Nepal on which country Budda was born in
Teevardwo Buddhist Monastery. Built in the 7th century uring the rule of Somavamsi King Teevardeo. You can see the Budda in the background. Excavation, started in 2003, its in a tent.
