This is Humpback creek, 1 minute from the parking lot. The source of this is Annette Lake
There's a gravel road off i-90 with lots of potholes to get to the parking lot! Hike was about 4 hours including 45 mins enjoying the lake
Famous WW2 airplane built probably 3000 ft from the Hollywood Burbank Airport, which use to be the Lockheed Aircraft Company's runway. SR-71, F-117, U-2, C-130, Electra, Hudson, Vega, Constellation all were built here and flew out of this runway. During WW2 they used the Disney Company down the road, to build a fake suburban neighborhood on the rooftops to fool Japanese bombers! Just sitting there thinking next to a large granite block, when somebody snuck in next to me and erected a bronze copy of me above the block... I'm flattered
I love the old buildings in Pasadena. The city was once the wintering spot in the 20's-30's for the Uber elite, like Palm Beach is today
