5 La Conner Main Street
Picture La Conner is a quaint town on the Swinomish Channel with many craft shops and restaurants. Been going here since the 90's. La Conner was founded in the early 1860's and is the oldest town in Skagit County. First settled by non-natives just after the Civil War, early arrival and merchant John Conner renamed “Swinomish” after his wife, Louisa A. Conner around 1876.

Picture The used some kind of sorcery to get these to bloom, well before the acres and acres in the fields outside of the town

5 Old Tree Trunk
Picture I think all tourist towns in Washington State have an obligatory requirement to showcase an old log with important dates that correspond to the tree rings. Oddly I could not find my birthday highlighted... a pretty important date if you ask me! Note: I'm very proud of my "Kitty with the lightning bolts coming out of it's paws" shirt
