Day adventure to Fort Pulaski with my pup and cousin. I liked this trip and think it's a fabulous opportunity to learn more about Civil War. The Union Army made the Confederates surrender inside the walls.

The tickets per person are $10 and valid for 7 days after its purchased date. The bathrooms are to the right of the parking lot when you pull in. They were super clean.
I can only image what this looked like during the battle. It's in good condition still. You are able to walk around most of the inside but there is nothing there.
We went to Fort Pulaski on its 150th anniversary. Crazy to think that people were in the middle of the Civil War shooting cannons at each other from a mile away.

BOMB BBQ ALERT! Stunning and delicious pulled pork sandwich. The outside seating is very casual and relaxed. A nice pit stop if you are in the area.
