Took a two night backpacking trip up to Pete Lake. Easy hike, very doable backpacking trip for a newbie or first timer. There are a few streams to cross, poles highly recommended for the trail! There are a lot of bugs at and around the lake, if you are staying overnight definitely need bug repellant. Lots of mosquitoes! Views are amazing, spots for camping on the far side of the lake are much quieter and private.
