A quick ski trip my buddy and I took to Lake Tahoe. I haven't been skiing in years so it was a fun day! We skied the day at Diamond Peak Resort.

We drove from Redwood City, CA to Lake Tahoe. We started driving earlier, it took us about 4 hours. 
I would suggest dropping all your gear off at the front where the ski lifts are so you don't need to carry them with you.
Ski rentals are $100 dollars for a day pass without being a resident. My friend had a house in Incline Village so luckily we were able to talk the ticket person down.
Only picture I took from the day! The powder was epic hahah I was able to go down a few black diamonds without much practice.
Of course after a long day we had to stop at In N Out.
