Stopped by on my drive to Mexicali. A MUST SEE!!! The scenery seems like some aliens landed here, missed their home planet and decided to recreate it here. Odd plants, trees and rocks abound.. The Eagles did their first album cover here and an Entourage episode was filmed here! Note: U2 did their Joshua tree Cover Pic near Owens Lake about 200 miles away

If you're thinking of bringing a drone... DON'T! There is a sign at the park entrance forbidding them.
These two sisters were releasing balloons from the hill top in memory of their mom who had recently died. I guess it was mom's favorite place. I was touched!
