Met up with some friends at the old Tel Aviv harbor. My dad had a sailboat there in the 70's. We'd take a bus to it and sail by ourselves as kids

My wife and I were on the bus when this old guy started pestering the driver who opened the door. The old guy promptly ran into the hills. Very Odd! My wife said "shouldn't we be worried he left a bomb on the bus?" and I said "none of the passengers look worried so we're probably OK". We did have to wait on a new bus to transfer to. Protocols I guess. Another interesting day in Israel!

He owns the Far East Market at the Shuk HaCarmel. Hadn't seen him since my last trip to Israel in '02. He was in my brothers class and his parents were friends with my parents. He was nice enough to let us use his wife's car for a few days!
