Built in 1931, the Most Recognizable High School In The U.S. is the John Marshall High School in Los Feliz. Films include Grease (1978), Zapped! ( 1982), Bachelor Party (1984), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Pretty in Pink (1986), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), True Crime (1996) and of course... the Van Halen "Hot for Teacher" video.
